Desire Very Thin Lumineers Veneers
Lumineers are thinner than other veneers. This means you have a very minimal amount of preparation of your teeth. They are best suited for light coloured teeth and not dark coloured teeth since it is hard to mask the underlying mild yellow or mild colours.
Also, your teeth need to be fairly straight since they are ultra thin. If your teeth are crooked then Emax veneers would be more appropriate.
The colour of your teeth is always colour matched to the colour you want on the shade guide. It is a quick and painless procedure.

“I was quite shy and did not like the brightness of my teeth. I came to Eternal Smiles because of the work I saw on their website and recommended by another friend. I had Lumineers and my friends can see the teeth look so much whiter. “

Porcelain veneers are custom-made shells of porcelain designed to fit over the front of your teeth. You can literally get a brand-new smile in only 1-2 visits to our Eternal Smiles dental practice. Lumineers are made in America and can take 6 weeks to be made.
If you need to restore chipped teeth, fill spaces or gaps in your teeth or simply want to mask discolouration of your teeth, porcelain veneers are a great option.
Our clinician specialised in what is known as smile makeovers – ranging from single veneers to full mouth rehabilitation using both crowns and veneers. Most importantly (keeping to the ethos of Dental on the Banks); all treatments are planned with the long term health of your teeth and goals in mind. We always aim to give you the dream smile that you have always wished for while also giving you the healthiest smile possible that will last you for years to come.
With a little more time to spare however, you can indulge and invest in porcelain veneers. These are the perfect pick for you if you are seeking the ultimate and one of the most premium and luxurious cosmetic packages for your smile.
Unlike traditional veneers, you don’t need temporary veneers to be put on while you’re waiting for your custom Lumineers. Once they’re ready, you’ll set up a second appointment where your dentist will bond them to your teeth.
How are veneers and Lumineers different?
Regular dental veneers are typically about 0.5 millimetres thick, whereas Lumineers are typically 0.3 millimetres thick. A lot of patients and dentists prefer the Lumineers brand over traditional veneers because they’re thinner and easier to place on the teeth.
However, given Lumineers are thinner than regular porcelain veneers, it can be a little harder for them to mask discoloured teeth. For example, if your teeth are heavily stained, there may not be enough material to hide the stains, and traditional veneers may be a better option for you.
Because Lumineers cover the existing tooth surface (there is no “shaving” down of the enamel), you’ll notice that your tooth is thicker. You may find it harder to clean your gum line, which may place you at a higher risk for gum disease. If you decide to opt for regular veneers, your cosmetic dentist will first smooth your tooth for a better fit.
Some patients prefer to cover all their visible teeth, which often drives up the cost of dental veneers. You should ideally only cover those teeth that have some sort of visible damage with dental veneers. So, your costs will be less if you only have one damaged tooth.
